Introduction
This display is a snapshot of items taken from a number of the themes that I collect to. They have been given the umbrella title of
‘Humanitarian Aid’ as I consider that all of the items displayed have a worthy connection with the definition which is:
‘Humanitarian Aid is material or logistical assistance provided for humanitarian purposes, typically in response to humanitarian crises,
including natural disasters and man-made disasters. The primary objective of humanitarian aid is to save lives, alleviate suffering and
maintain human dignity.’
Humanitarian aid comes in many forms as this display illustrates. Some of the items displayed will have more writing up than others as
I do like to research into their backgrounds/social history if possible. I have included some of the detail prior to each of the two
halves of the display.
